Portfolio: Seoul Landmarks Assembly Kit Illustration Design

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who reinterprets iconic urban elements through a creative lens to provide a fresh visual experience. This project features an illustration design portfolio that expresses the representative landmarks of Seoul, South Korea, with an “Assembly Kit” concept.

By meticulously arranging Seoul’s iconic symbols—from modern skyscrapers like Namsan Seoul Tower, the 63 Building, and Lotte World Tower to cultural landmarks like the National Assembly Building and the statue of King Sejong—in the style of a plastic model kit, I have added a unique sense of visual wit. The structural layout conveys the impression of a mega-city being assembled into a precise system. This original illustration solution is ideal for various media requiring creative branding, such as tourism merchandise, educational leaflets, infographics, and brand packaging.
