안녕하세요, 한국의 랜드마크가 가진 역사적 가치를 현대적인 시각 언어로 재구성하는 디자이너 타미(Tommy)입니다. 이번에 소개해 드릴 프로젝트는 ‘경복궁’이라는 한글 단어를 광화문의 웅장한 형상으로 시각화한 타이포그래피 로고 디자인 포트폴리오입니다. 글자 ‘경복궁’의 획을 광화문의 견고한 석축과 우아한 기와지붕의 실루엣으로 정교하게 설계하여, 단어 자체가 하나의 상징적인 건축물로 보이도록 구현했습니다. 서울의 상징성과 대한민국의 전통미를 현대적인 그래픽 감각으로 풀어냈으며, 관광 브랜드, 문화 상품, 공공 기관 등 한국의 정체성을 세계적으로 전달하고자 하는 프로젝트에 최적화된 독창적인 브랜딩 솔루션입니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who reconstructs the historical value of Korean landmarks into a modern visual language. This project features a typography logo design portfolio that visualizes the Korean word “Gyeongbokgung” into the majestic shape of Gwanghwamun Gate. I meticulously designed the strokes of the characters to reflect the silhouette of Gwanghwamun’s solid stone base and its elegant tiled roof, transforming the word itself into a symbolic architectural structure. By reinterpreting Seoul’s iconic presence and Korea’s traditional beauty with a modern graphic sensibility, this original branding solution is perfectly suited for tourism brands, cultural products, and public institutions aiming to communicate Korean identity globally.
