Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who designs sincere messages by harmoniously combining Korean traditional beauty with contemporary sensibilities. This project features the “2023 Year of the Rabbit Hanbok Lunar New Year Greeting Illustration” portfolio, created to celebrate the Year of the Water Rabbit.

Moving beyond a simple holiday image, I set rabbits wearing Hanbok as the core persona of the design to visualize the hope and peace of the New Year. The diverse and friendly movements of the rabbits, along with the layout of traditional Korean patterns, capture the values of inheriting traditional values, showing courtesy toward loved ones, and sharing the abundant blessings of the New Year. In particular, by applying a warm pastel-toned color palette, I designed it to make recipients feel both warm comfort and the exciting energy of the New Year.

This design is an optimized visualization solution for any business or individual needing premium content with Korean sentiments, such as corporate New Year greeting cards, Lunar New Year promotional banners, gift cards, and mobile invitations. It is a premium graphic design result that completes a brand’s warm dignity and holiday narrative across various touchpoints, including website holiday pop-ups, social media greeting images, and offline printed cards.
