Portfolio: Retro ‘Fighting’ Boy Character & Cheering Logo Design

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who approaches the public with friendliness by combining the positive energy of characters with a warm, retro sensibility. This project features a “Retro Boy Character Logo” design portfolio, inspired by the energetic “Fighting” gesture of raising a hand high.

Based on bold and nostalgic line drawings inspired by 70s-80s vintage cartoons, I visualized a child full of confidence, showing that “anything is possible.” I implemented a dynamic pose and clear facial expressions to intuitively deliver messages of encouragement like “Let’s go!” or “Cheer up!”, and applied a faded retro color palette to add analog warmth and nostalgia. This identity is perfectly optimized for children’s educational services, kids’ cafes, children’s apparel brands, or campaign branding that aims to provide support and vitality to the public. It is a premium character branding solution that maximizes the brand’s friendly charm while displaying a strong character identity across all media.
