안녕하세요, 길거리 음식의 따스한 추억과 브랜드의 현대적인 감각을 결합하여 대중의 입맛을 사로잡는 시각 언어를 디자인하는 디자이너 타미(Tommy)입니다. 이번에 소개해 드릴 프로젝트는 한국의 대표적인 겨울 간식인 호떡의 정겨움을 담아낸 ‘호떡 로고 디자인 CI·BI’ 포트폴리오입니다.

단순한 음식의 묘사를 넘어, 우리가 일상에서 호떡을 마주하는 가장 익숙한 순간인 **종이컵(Paper Cup)**에 담긴 **호떡(Hotteok)**의 실루엣을 직관적인 심볼마크로 구축했습니다. 종이컵 위로 살짝 올라온 노란 호떡과 그 속에 담긴 달콤한 꿀/씨앗의 이미지는 비즈니스가 지향하는 갓 구워낸 따끈한 온기, 정성 가득한 길거리 미식의 가치, 그리고 남녀노소 누구나 즐기는 친근함을 시각화합니다. 특히 간결한 라인 아트를 적용하여 노점부터 세련된 디저트 카페 형태의 매장까지 두루 어울리는 현대적 브랜딩을 완성했습니다.

이 디자인은 호떡 전문 프랜차이즈, 전통 시장 내 맛집, 씨앗호떡 및 이색 호떡 브랜드, 푸드트럭 비즈니스, 그리고 대중적이고 활기찬 이미지를 강조하고 싶은 모든 스트리트 푸드 비즈니스에 최적화된 아이덴티티입니다. 매장 외부의 돌출 간판부터 호떡 포장지 및 종이컵 인쇄 디자인, 배달 플랫폼의 대표 썸네일, 공식 명함 및 SNS 프로필 이미지에 이르기까지 브랜드의 맛있는 정체성을 완성해 주는 프리미엄 외식 브랜딩 솔루션입니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who designs visual language that captures the public’s taste by combining warm memories of street food with a brand’s modern sensibility. This project features the “Hotteok Logo Design CI·BI” portfolio, which captures the friendly warmth of Hotteok, Korea’s representative winter snack.

Moving beyond a simple depiction of food, I built an intuitive symbol mark of Hotteok contained in a paper cup, the most familiar way we encounter this snack in daily life. The image of the yellow Hotteok popping out of the cup, filled with sweet syrup or seeds, visualizes the values of freshly baked warmth, the value of sincere street gastronomy, and the friendliness enjoyed by people of all ages. In particular, by applying concise line art, I completed a modern branding that suits everything from street stalls to sophisticated dessert-style cafes.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any street food business looking to emphasize a popular and vibrant image, such as Hotteok specialty franchises, famous market eateries, seed Hotteok brands, and food truck businesses. It is a premium food branding solution that completes a brand’s delicious identity across various touchpoints, including protruding shop signs, packaging and cup print designs, representative thumbnails for delivery platforms, official business cards, and social media profiles.
