단순한 동물 캐릭터를 넘어, 금융 비즈니스가 갖추어야 할 전문성과 영리함을 시각화하기 위해 ‘오리(Duck)’의 실루엣을 텍스트와 유기적으로 결합한 타이포그래피형 로고를 디자인의 핵심 구조로 설정했습니다. 글자의 획 속에 오리의 부드러운 곡선과 영특한 이미지를 녹여낸 디자인은 비즈니스가 지향하는 스마트한 금융 솔루션, 고객의 자산을 안전하게 지키는 신뢰도, 그리고 딱딱한 금융의 이미지를 탈피한 친근한 서비스라는 가치를 시각화합니다. 특히 ‘금리(Interest rate)’와 같은 수치적 정보를 다루는 기업의 특성에 맞춰, 정갈하고 균형 잡힌 폰트 시스템을 적용하여 디지털 환경에서도 높은 시인성을 유지하도록 설계했습니다.

이 디자인은 핀테크 스타트업, 자산 관리 및 투자 자문사, 인터넷 은행, 대출 및 금리 비교 플랫폼, 그리고 차별화된 심볼을 통해 브랜드 기억도를 극대화하고 싶은 모든 금융 브랜딩 비즈니스에 최적화된 아이덴티티입니다. 기업의 공식 사명(CI)부터 브랜드의 대표 얼굴(BI), 모바일 앱 아이콘, 신용카드 및 통장 디자인, 웹사이트 파비콘 및 SNS 채널의 프로필 이미지에 이르기까지 브랜드의 독보적인 정체성과 스마트한 서사를 완성해 주는 프리미엄 브랜딩 솔루션입니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who designs asset value by implementing the solid trust of finance and the brand’s unique persona into a sensible visual language. This project features the “Duck Typography Logo Design CI·BI” portfolio, which captures a financial company’s identity with wit and clarity.

Moving beyond a simple animal character, I set a typography logo that organically combines the silhouette of a ‘Duck’ with text as the core structure of the design to visualize the expertise and intelligence required in the financial business. The design, which melts the smooth curves and clever image of a duck into the strokes of the letters, visualizes the values of smart financial solutions, reliability in protecting customer assets, and a friendly service that breaks away from a rigid financial image. In particular, I designed it with a neat and balanced font system to maintain high visibility in digital environments, tailored to companies handling numerical information such as interest rates.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any financial branding business looking to maximize brand recall through a differentiated symbol, such as fintech startups, asset management firms, internet banks, and interest rate comparison platforms.
