단순한 동물 묘사를 넘어, 의뢰인의 요청에 따라 너구리(Raccoon)와 닮은 듯하면서도 레서팬더(Red Panda)만의 독특한 특징인 붉은 털과 줄무늬 꼬리, 그리고 장난기 가득한 표정을 디자인의 핵심 페르소나로 설정했습니다. 동글동글한 라인과 생동감 넘치는 눈망울은 비즈니스가 지향하는 친근한 고객 응대, 즐거운 브랜드 경험, 그리고 대중에게 쉽게 다가가는 다정한 이미지라는 가치를 시각화합니다. 특히 캐릭터의 범용성을 고려하여 다양한 포즈와 표정 변화에도 일관된 정체성을 유지하도록 정교한 벡터 그래픽(AI) 시스템으로 설계했습니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who proposes designs that capture the public’s heart by implementing the friendly charm of animals and the vibrant energy of a brand into a unique visual language. This project features the “Red Panda Character Illustration” portfolio, which symbolically captures unique cuteness and a distinct appearance.

Moving beyond a simple animal depiction, I set the core persona of the design with the unique characteristics of a Red Panda—such as the red fur, striped tail, and playful expression—while maintaining a look similar to a raccoon as requested. The rounded lines and lively eyes visualize the values of friendly customer service, a joyful brand experience, and a kind image that easily approaches the public. In particular, I designed it with a sophisticated vector graphics (AI) system to maintain a consistent identity across various poses and expressions.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any character branding business looking to build a strong brand fandom through cute animal characters, such as fancy and stationery brands, kids’ cafes, character goods companies, and IT startup mascots.
