Portfolio: Indomitable Shield & Majestic Tiger Taekwondo Identity

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who designs the status of a dojo by capturing the harmony of the Taegeuk and the bravery of a tiger within a solid shield. This project features the “Strong Taekwondo Logo Design” portfolio, symbolizing perfect protection and a strong spirit.

Moving beyond a simple combination of symbols, I integrated the Taegeuk mark, the shield, and the tigerinto a single organic emblem. The solid outer line of the shield symbolizes self-defense and upright character, while the roaring tiger shape at the center visualizes unstoppable challenge and overwhelming energy. By applying intense contrast and sophisticated line art, I designed it to provide a sense of trust as a premium educational institution along with high visibility that stands out from a distance.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any martial arts education business looking to build both a Korean identity and a strong image, such as Taekwondo academies, traditional martial arts dojos, and children’s sports academies. It is a premium martial arts branding solution that completes the dojo’s professional status across various media, including large storefront signage, embroidered uniform emblems, vehicle wrapping designs, and official certificates.
