안녕하세요, 한국의 전통적인 미학을 현대적인 그래픽 문법으로 재해석하여 국가적 행사의 품격을 시각화하는 디자이너 타미(Tommy)입니다. 이번에 소개해 드릴 프로젝트는 대한민국의 상징인 ‘태극마크’와 천년 고도 ‘경주’의 정체성을 결합하여 제작된 ‘전통 박람회 포스터’ 디자인 포트폴리오입니다.

대한민국의 역동성을 상징하는 태극의 곡선미를 중심으로, 경주의 유구한 역사와 전통적인 문양들을 조화롭게 배치하여 가장 ‘한국적인’ 비주얼 임팩트를 구현했습니다. 박람회나 컨퍼런스의 특성을 고려하여 주요 정보가 한눈에 들어올 수 있도록 타이포그래피의 가독성을 최우선으로 설계했으며, 신뢰감 있는 컬러 팔레트를 사용해 행사의 권위를 높였습니다. 이 디자인은 지자체 박람회, 국제 컨퍼런스, 학술 대회를 비롯하여 한국의 미를 전 세계에 알리는 대규모 문화 행사 홍보물에 최적화되어 있습니다. 온·오프라인 매체에서 강력한 시각적 몰입감을 선사하며 행사의 가치를 완성하는 프리미엄 국가 브랜딩 및 포스터 솔루션입니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who visualizes the dignity of national events by reinterpreting Korean traditional aesthetics through a modern graphic language. This project features a “Traditional Expo Poster” design portfolio, created by combining the identity of Gyeongju, the millennium-old capital, with the ‘Taegeuk’ mark, the symbol of South Korea.

Centered on the elegant curves of the Taegeuk—symbolizing Korea’s dynamism—I implemented the most ‘Korean’ visual impact by harmoniously arranging Gyeongju’s long-standing history and traditional patterns. Considering the nature of expos and conferences, I prioritized typographic readability so that key information is caught at a glance, using a trustworthy color palette to enhance the event’s authority. This design is perfectly optimized for large-scale cultural event promotional materials that promote the beauty of Korea to the world, including local government expos, international conferences, and academic seminars. It is a premium national branding and poster solution that provides strong visual immersion and completes the value of the event across all media.
