Portfolio: Powerful Taekwondo Fist & Traditional Taegeuk Identity

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who completes the value of a dojang by visualizing the spirit of Korea and the indomitable strength of martial artists through sophisticated formative beauty. This project features a “Taekwondo Fist Taekwondo Logo Design” portfolio, combining the dynamism and symbolism of Taekwondo—Korea’s national sport.

By harmoniously placing the Taegeuk mark, the identity of Korea, within the silhouette of a fist—symbolizing the disciplined power of a martial artist—I visualized the strong body, etiquette, and national pride that Taekwondo pursues. The curves of the Taegeuk flowing along the intense lines of the fist capture the philosophy of Taekwondo, where softness and strength coexist. I applied modern line art to design it as a sophisticated brand asset that goes beyond traditional dojang logos. This identity is perfectly optimized for Taekwondo dojangs, martial arts academies, sports clubs, and any sports-related business looking to interpret Korean motifs in a modern way. It is a premium martial arts branding solution that delivers an overwhelming presence and sense of trust across various media, including dojang signage, student uniform embroidery, team t-shirts, and various tournament promotional materials.
