지붕 위에서 바람의 방향을 알려주는 **풍향계(Weathervane)**와 그 중심에 선 **닭(Chicken)**의 형상을 모티브로 삼았습니다. 풍향계의 **화살표(Arrow)**는 비즈니스가 지향하는 정확한 목표, 시장의 흐름을 읽는 안목, 그리고 끊임없는 전진을 상징하며, 그 위에 당당히 서 있는 닭의 실루엣은 브랜드의 자부심과 신선함을 시각화합니다. 클래식한 유럽풍 감성과 심플한 라인 아트를 조화롭게 매치하여, 정통성 있는 브랜드 이미지를 구축함과 동시에 현대적인 세련미를 잃지 않도록 설계했습니다.

이 디자인은 정통 클래식 치킨 브랜드, 수제 베이커리 및 레스토랑, 로컬 팜(Farm) 비즈니스, 혹은 **’올바른 방향’**이라는 스토리텔링을 담고 싶은 모든 F&B 브랜드에 최적화된 아이덴티티입니다. 매장 외부 돌출 간판, 빈티지한 패키지 디자인, 공식 웹사이트의 심볼 등 다양한 매체에서 브랜드의 독보적인 아우라를 완성해 주는 프리미엄 브랜딩 솔루션입니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who suggests a brand’s direction by replacing the symbolic meaning of objects with sensible designs. This project features a “Chicken Weathervane Logo Design” portfolio, which elevates classic aesthetics into a modern logo.

I took the motif of a weathervane, which tells the direction of the wind on a roof, and the chicken standing at its center. The arrow of the weathervane symbolizes the precise goals, the insight to read market trends, and constant progress that the business pursues, while the silhouette of the chicken standing proudly visualizes the brand’s pride and freshness. By harmoniously matching classic European sensibility with simple line art, I designed it to establish an authentic brand image while maintaining modern sophistication.

This identity is perfectly optimized for authentic classic chicken brands, handmade bakeries and restaurants, local farm businesses, or any F&B brand looking to include storytelling about “the right direction.” It is a premium branding solution that completes a brand’s unique aura across various media, including outdoor projecting signs, vintage package designs, and official website symbols.
