단순한 기계의 형상을 넘어, **재봉틀(Sewing Machine)**의 클래식한 심볼마크와 함께 브랜드 네이밍을 구성하는 글자(Typography) 속에 바늘, 실, 가위 등 재봉에 사용되는 다양한 도구들의 실루엣을 유기적으로 투영하여 독창적인 워드마크를 구축했습니다. 글자 마디마디가 재봉 도구와 자연스럽게 연결되는 구조는 비즈니스가 지향하는 디테일한 수선 기술, 맞춤형 패션의 가치, 그리고 한 땀 한 땀 정성을 다하는 장인 정신을 시각화합니다. 특히 정갈한 라인 아트를 적용하여 전통적인 미싱 공방의 신뢰감과 현대적인 패션 스튜디오의 세련미를 동시에 전달하도록 설계했습니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who implements craftsmanship—where exquisite handiwork comes together to complete a masterpiece—into a sensible visual language. This project features the “Sewing Machine Logo Design CI·BI” portfolio, which combines the warm sensibility of a workshop with professional technical skills.

Moving beyond a simple machine shape, I built a unique wordmark by organically projecting the silhouettes of various sewing tools—such as needles, thread, and scissors—into the typography of the brand name, alongside a classic sewing machine symbol. The structure, where each letter naturally connects with sewing tools, visualizes the values of detailed repair techniques, the value of custom fashion, and the craftsmanship of putting sincerity into every stitch. In particular, by applying clean line art, I designed it to deliver both the reliability of a traditional sewing workshop and the sophistication of a modern fashion studio.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any fashion and craft business looking to build a precise and professional image, such as fashion design studios, handmade clothing workshops, professional repair and reform shops, and premium laundry services.
