안녕하세요, 브랜드의 네이밍 속에 숨겨진 감성을 발견하고 이를 감각적인 시각 언어로 풀어내어 브랜드의 가치를 높이는 디자이너 타미(Tommy)입니다. 이번에 소개해 드릴 프로젝트는 긍정적인 학습 경험을 타이포그래피로 구현한 ‘영어학원 교육 로고 일러스트 디자인’ 포트폴리오입니다.

단순한 심볼 위주의 구성을 넘어, 학원의 네이밍(Naming) 자체를 디자인의 핵심 요소로 활용한 타이포그래피(Typography)스타일을 지향했습니다. 영문 철자의 곡선과 배치를 영리하게 활용하여 즐겁게 웃고 있는 스마일(Smile) 표정을 형상화했으며, 이는 비즈니스가 지향하는 즐거운 영어 학습, 성취의 기쁨, 그리고 아이들의 밝은 미래를 상징적으로 담아냈습니다. 텍스트 자체가 이미지가 되는 디자인 방식을 통해 브랜드명을 고객의 머릿속에 더욱 직관적이고 강력하게 각인시키도록 설계했습니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who elevates brand value by discovering the hidden emotions within a brand’s naming and expressing them through a sensible visual language. This project features an “English Academy Education Logo Illustration Design” portfolio, implementing a positive learning experience through typography.

Moving beyond simple symbol-oriented compositions, I aimed for a typography style that utilizes the academy’s naming as the core design element. By cleverly using the curves and arrangement of the English letters, I shaped a smile facial expression, symbolically capturing the joyful English learning, the pleasure of achievement, and the bright future of children that the business pursues. Through a design method where the text itself becomes an image, I designed it to imprint the brand name more intuitively and powerfully in the customer’s mind.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any educational service business looking to convey a friendly yet sophisticated impression, such as English language academies, kids’ English brands, private English tutoring, and creative education centers. Its charm is maximized when applied to cheerful naming like ‘Picnic,’ and it is a premium branding solution that reveals an overwhelming brand presence across various media, including academy signage, eco-bag merchandise, textbook covers, and official social media profiles.
