Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who grants a unique narrative to brands by reinterpreting nostalgic memories into modern visuals. This project features a “Retro Car Illustration” portfolio, capturing the atmosphere of 70s-80s Seoul along with the ‘Hyundai Pony,’ an icon of Korean automotive history.

Focusing on the Pony’s signature angular silhouette and classic details, I have visualized the cityscapes of old Seoul with warm, vintage color palettes. By applying textures that evoke faded film photography, I maximized the analog sensibility, offering cherished memories to those who lived through the era and a trendy ‘New-tro’ vibe to younger generations.
