Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who engineers a brand’s unique atmosphere by combining nostalgic charm with modern sophistication. This project features a “Retro Album Jacket Design” portfolio, themed around the lyrical cityscapes of Seoul and vintage cars from the 80s and 90s.

Centered on iconic old-fashioned cars like the ‘Hyundai Pony’—a symbol of Korea’s automotive history—I captured the sunset cityscapes of Seoul and the silhouette of Namsan Tower through sensible retro illustrations. By utilizing a faded color palette and grain textures, I added analog warmth and implemented a visual sensibility optimized for City Pop or retro-sounding music. This design is perfectly optimized for projects requiring trendy yet nostalgic imagery, such as music album covers, brand collaboration posters, and vintage-concept merchandise.
