안녕하세요, 자연의 유려한 곡선과 역동적인 에너지를 심플하고 강렬한 심볼로 시각화하는 디자이너 타미(Tommy)입니다. 이번에 소개해 드릴 프로젝트는 바닷속을 가르는 가오리의 우아한 움직임을 ‘비상하는 날개’의 형상으로 재해석한 가오리 로고 디자인 포트폴리오입니다.

해양 생물인 가오리가 가슴지느러미를 펼치고 헤엄치는 모습에서 영감을 받아, 마치 하늘을 나는 듯한 ‘비행’의 역동성과 ‘수영’의 유연함을 동시에 담아냈습니다. 기하학적인 대칭 구조와 세련된 라인 아트를 적용하여 가오리 특유의 신비로운 실루엣을 현대적인 엠블럼으로 완성했으며, 이는 자유로움과 확장의 가치를 직관적으로 전달합니다. 이 디자인은 해양 스포츠 브랜드, 수영 관련 비즈니스, 아쿠아리움 아이덴티티는 물론, 가오리연(Stingray Kite)처럼 높이 비상하는 이미지를 추구하는 스타트업이나 항공/물류 브랜드에도 최적화된 아이덴티티입니다. 온·오프라인 매체에서 압도적인 시각적 존재감을 드러내며 브랜드의 독창적인 서사를 완성하는 프리미엄 브랜딩 솔루션입니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who visualizes the elegant curves of nature and dynamic energy into simple yet powerful symbols. This project features a “Stingray Wing Logo Design” portfolio, reinterpreting the graceful movement of a stingray cutting through the ocean into the shape of “soaring wings.”

Inspired by the way stingrays swim by spreading their pectoral fins, I captured both the dynamism of “flight” and the flexibility of “swimming.” By applying a geometric symmetrical structure and sophisticated line art, I completed the mysterious silhouette of the stingray into a modern emblem, intuitively communicating the values of freedom and expansion. This identity is perfectly optimized for marine sports brands, swimming-related businesses, and aquarium identities, as well as startups or aviation/logistics brands pursuing a high-flying image like a “Stingray Kite.” It is a premium branding solution that establishes an overwhelming visual presence and completes a brand’s unique narrative across all media.
