안녕하세요, 한국의 고결한 정신인 태극의 조화와 호랑이의 용맹함을 감각적인 시각 언어로 결합하여 도장의 압도적인 위상을 디자인하는 디자이너 타미(Tommy)입니다. 이번에 소개해 드릴 프로젝트는 대한민국의 상징적 미학을 현대적이고 강렬한 엠블럼으로 형상화한 ‘태극 호랑이 태권도 도장 로고 디자인’ 포트폴리오입니다.

단순한 심볼의 나열을 넘어, 대한민국을 상징하는 **태극마크(Taegeuk Mark)**와 그 중심에서 포효하는 **호랑이(Tiger)**의 기개를 유기적으로 통합하여 디자인을 구축했습니다. 태극의 음양 조화는 태권도가 지향하는 정신과 신체의 완벽한 평형을 의미하며, 용맹한 호랑이의 형상은 거침없는 도전 정신과 상대를 압도하는 자신감을 시각화합니다. 정교한 라인 아트와 강렬한 대비를 적용하여 전통적인 무도 정신을 유지하면서도, 프리미엄 교육 브랜드로서의 세련된 인상을 남기도록 설계했습니다.

이 디자인은 경희대 태권도 등 대학교 브랜드 도장, 전통 무술 아카데미, 해외 진출 태권도 연맹, 그리고 한국적 아이덴티티를 가장 직관적이고 강력하게 드러내고자 하는 모든 무술 교육 비즈니스에 최적화된 아이덴티티입니다. 도장 전면의 대형 사인물, 수련생 도복의 가슴 패치, 공식 수료증 및 차량 래핑 디자인 등 다양한 온·오프라인 매체에서 도장의 정통성과 전문성을 완성해 주는 프리미엄 브랜딩 솔루션입니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who designs the overwhelming status of a dojo by combining the harmony of Taegeuk, the noble spirit of Korea, and the bravery of a tiger into a sensible visual language. This project features the “Taegeuk Tiger Taekwondo Dojo Logo Design” portfolio, which shapes the symbolic aesthetics of South Korea into a modern and intense emblem.

Moving beyond a simple arrangement of symbols, I built the design by organically integrating the Taegeuk mark, symbolizing Korea, with the spirit of a roaring tiger at its center. The harmony of Yin and Yang in the Taegeuk represents the perfect balance of mind and body pursued by Taekwondo, while the brave tiger shape visualizes unstoppable challenge and confidence to overwhelm opponents. By applying sophisticated line art and intense contrast, I designed it to leave a sophisticated impression as a premium educational brand while maintaining traditional martial arts values.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any martial arts education business looking to reveal Korean identity most intuitively and powerfully, such as university-branded dojos (e.g., Kyunghee Taekwondo), traditional martial arts academies, and international Taekwondo federations. It is a premium branding solution that completes the dojo’s authenticity and professionalism across various media, including large storefront signage, embroidered uniform patches, official certificates, and vehicle wrapping designs.
