단순한 홍보물을 넘어, 해녀 전문 공연팀의 아이덴티티와 공연의 서사를 직관적으로 전달하기 위해 ‘해녀 캐릭터’의 역동적인 수면 위로 솟구치는 순간과 전통적인 테왁을 디자인의 핵심 구조로 설정했습니다. 흩뿌려지는 물방울과 일렁이는 파도는 비즈니스가 지향하는 자연과 인간의 공존, 거친 바다를 이겨내는 여성의 강인함, 그리고 유네스코 인류무형문화유산으로서의 문화적 가치라는 가치를 시각화합니다. 특히 예술 공연의 품격을 높이기 위해 회화적인 느낌의 일러스트 스타일과 제주 바다를 연상시키는 딥 블루(Deep Blue) 및 에메랄드 그린 컬러 팔레트를 적용하여, 보는 이로 하여금 신비로우면서도 압도적인 몰입감을 느끼도록 설계했습니다.

이 디자인은 제주도 및 로컬 문화 예술 공연 팀, 해녀 주제의 뮤지컬 및 연극 제작사, 지역 기반 문화 축제 및 행사 위원회, 해녀 박물관 및 관광 콘텐츠 비즈니스, 그리고 한국의 독창적인 문화를 세계에 알리고 싶은 모든 글로벌 문화 브랜딩 비즈니스에 최적화된 시각화 솔루션입니다. 공연장의 메인 홍보 포스터부터 대형 현수막, 티켓 디자인, 굿즈 및 프로그램북 표지, 웹사이트 배너 및 SNS 홍보용 카드뉴스에 이르기까지 브랜드의 독보적인 정체성과 숨비소리의 서사를 완성해 주는 프리미엄 그래픽 디자인 결과물입니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who designs the emotion of the stage by implementing the strong vitality of the ocean and the unique cultural sentiment of Jeju into a sensible visual language. This project features the “Haenyeo Performance Culture Art Poster Design” portfolio, which artistically captures the lives of Jeju Haenyeo and their Sumbi-sori (breathing sound).

Moving beyond a simple promotion, I set the dynamic moment of a ‘Haenyeo character’ breaking through the water surface and a traditional tewak as the core structures of the design to intuitively convey the performance narrative. The scattering water droplets and rolling waves visualize the values of the coexistence of nature and humans, the strength of women overcoming the rough sea, and the cultural value as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In particular, I designed it with a painterly illustration style and a deep blue and emerald green color palette to provide a mysterious yet overwhelming sense of immersion.

This design is an optimized visualization solution for any global cultural branding business looking to promote Korea’s unique culture to the world, such as Jeju local culture art performance teams, Haenyeo-themed musical and theater production companies, regional cultural festivals, Haenyeo museums, and tourism content businesses. From main promotional posters to banners, tickets, goods, and social media content, it is a premium graphic design result that completes the brand’s unique identity and the narrative of Sumbi-sori.
