단순한 도구의 묘사를 넘어, 공방의 아이덴티티를 직관적으로 전달하기 위해 **’실과 바늘(Thread & Needle)’**을 디자인의 핵심 모티브로 설정했습니다. 유연하게 이어지는 실의 곡선으로 브랜드의 네이밍을 형상화한 디자인은 비즈니스가 지향하는 섬세한 수선 기술, 뜨개질의 따뜻한 감성, 그리고 끊어지지 않는 고객과의 신뢰라는 가치를 시각화합니다. 특히 업종의 특성이 한눈에 파악되도록 실타래와 바늘의 형태를 워드마크와 유기적으로 결합하고, 전체적인 서체에 통일감을 부여하여 세련되면서도 정갈한 공방의 이미지를 완성하도록 설계했습니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who designs the warmth of a brand by implementing the value of sincere touches and craft details into a sensible visual language. This project features the “Workshop Knitting Repair Logo CI·BI” portfolio, which symbolically captures the sincerity and expertise of every stitch.

Moving beyond simple tool depictions, I set ‘Thread & Needle’ as the core motif of the design to intuitively convey the workshop’s identity. The design, which shapes the brand naming with the flexibly connected curves of the thread, visualizes the values of delicate repair techniques, the warm emotion of knitting, and unbreakable trust with customers. In particular, I designed it to complete a sophisticated and neat workshop image by organically combining the shapes of spools and needles with the wordmark for immediate industry recognition.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any craft branding business looking to emphasize both analog sensibility and professional skills, such as handmade knitting workshops, clothing repair and reform shops, embroidery studios, and DIY class brands.
