단순한 심볼을 넘어, 케이크 전문점으로서의 정체성을 가장 명확하게 전달하기 위해 ‘조각 케이크(Slice of Cake)’의 기하학적인 형태와 부드러운 텍스처를 디자인의 핵심 구조로 설정했습니다. 겹겹이 쌓인 시트의 층과 상단의 섬세한 토핑을 형상화한 디자인은 비즈니스가 지향하는 정성 어린 핸드메이드 공정, 엄선된 재료의 조화, 그리고 한 조각의 케이크가 주는 완벽한 행복이라는 가치를 시각화합니다. 특히 프리미엄 디저트 브랜드의 세련미를 강조하기 위해 절제된 라인 아트와 달콤하면서도 고급스러운 파스텔 혹은 크림 톤의 컬러 팔레트를 적용하여 설계했습니다.

Hi, I’m Tommy, a designer who designs brand flavor by implementing the excitement of special days and the sweet rest of daily life into a sensible visual language. This project features the “Slice of Cake Brand Logo BI Design” portfolio, which intuitively captures the aesthetic value of desserts and the expertise of a bakery.

Moving beyond a simple symbol, I set the geometric shape and soft texture of a ‘Slice of Cake’ as the core structure of the design to most clearly convey the identity of a cake specialty shop. The design, which shapes the layers of the cake and delicate toppings, visualizes the values of sincere handmade processes, the harmony of selected ingredients, and the perfect happiness given by a single slice of cake. In particular, I designed it by applying restrained line art and a sophisticated pastel or cream-tone color palette to emphasize the brand’s premium image.

This identity is perfectly optimized for any foodservice branding business looking to increase brand loyalty through sensible packaging and visuals, such as handmade cake shops, dessert cafes, custom cake studios, and hotel bakeries.
